Mounds View Community Garden

The Mounds View Community garden is planned to start in spring 2026. We meet on the Second Saturday of each month between April and October. See the calendar for exact dates.

We invite you to come out and learn about gardening through hands-on experience!

Please contact us at info@cultivatemv.com if you are interested in joining in!

Goals

1. Teach residents how to garden.

2. Promote community through collective gardening.

How does it work?

Fostering community first, the Mounds View Cooperative Teaching Garden is designed as a collective effort by all participants.

Our organizing committee of volunteers guide the garden through the seasons. Community Garden members can come to any volunteer workshop, training, or event for free.

If harvests are available, it will be shared among the day's participants and extra produce will be donated to Ralph Reeder food pantry.

Location

Edgewood Middle School (District 621) has provided access to an old school garden that is no longer in use.

Please see pin on map for exact location.

You can park along the curved road near the garden or in the parking lot outside of school hours and during the summer.
